    Law School class of 2004 celebrates Bukola Akinola’s elevation to a Professor.

    Akinola Bukola a member of the Law School Class of 2004 has been appointed full professor at the Elizade University Faculty of Law, Ondo State. He holds law degrees from University of Ilorin and Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Until recently, Bukola was an outspoken faculty member within the NLS multi-campus system.
    Law School Class of 2004 is proud to have him as a member of the class.

    According to Chiny Nworah, the editor of The Grundnorm, law school classes are becoming increasingly influencial in the legal profession around the world,thus a need to harmonise different classes together in one platform to encourage inter class interaction.Many law school classes have existed on whatsapp groups and because of the limitations of the number that can be accommodated on a whatsapp group,the classes have been divided into many groups with some people on one group unable to see or interact with others in other groups.

    NLSC78- Aliyu Umar SAN 19/6/52-17/4/2020

    Aliyu Umar,SAN a member of the Law School class of 1978 and former Kano State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice is dead.He died on the early hours of April 17th 2020.

    The late SAN was born on 19th June, 1952 and called to the Nigerian Bar in 1978. He was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2012.

    Law School Class of 1978 loses Aliyu Umar SAN

    The Law School class of 1978 has lost the former Kano State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Aliyu Umar, SAN, is dead.

    Umar reportedly passed on in the early hours of April 17th 2020.

    The deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
