With focus on the post crisis NBA,the Law school class of 1978 has produced four NBA Presidents. Lawschoolclass.com has published below the law school classes of different presidents of the NBA starting from 1998.
TJO Okpoko (1998-2000)
Was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1971.Chief Okpoko was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 1987 and was made a Life Bencher in 2000.He was the President of the NBA from 1998-2000
OCJ Okocha- 2000-2002
He was called to the Bar in Nigeria in 1978, and was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 1995.
Wole Olanipekun( 2002-2004)
He was Called to the bar in July 1976 after he graduated from the Nigerian Law School and subsequently attained the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in July 1991, the same year in which he was appointed as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo State and served in that capacity for two years. In 2002, he was elected as President of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Bayo Ojo, was elected President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) in 2004. Subsequently, he was appointed Attorney General and Minister of Justice. He was called in 1978.

Olisa Agbakoba, is the former president of the Nigerian Bar Association from 2006 to 2008 and a founding partner of Olisa Agbakoba and Associates.He was called to the bar in 1978
Rotimi Akeredolu a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who became president of the Nigerian Bar Association in 2008.He was called to the Nigerian Bar 1978. His tenure ended in 2010
Okey Wali was 26th president of the Nigerian Bar Association.Served from 2012 to 2014

Augustine Alegeh, SAN (2014-2016)is the Founding and Managing Partner of The Firm. He is a 1985 Law graduate (LLB) of The University of Benin. He attended The Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1986 and was admitted to The Nigerian Bar in October 1986.
A. B Mahmoud( 2016-2018) graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1979 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1980
Mr. Mahmoud was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2001 and is a Life Bencher of the Body of Benchers, the highest regulatory body for the legal profession in Nigeria. He holds the national honour of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON). He was elected the 33rd president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria’s umbrella association of professional lawyers on 1 August 2016.
Paul Usoro, SAN (2018-2020)was born on 07 September 1958 and hails from Essien Udim, LGA of Akwa Ibom State. He studied Law at the University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now) Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife), Osun State, Nigeria, where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree (with Honours) in 1981.
In 1982, he was called to the Nigerian Bar.
